Rebate

Have you heard about the oilheat equipment rebate program in Michigan? Homeowners in the Great Lakes State can receive rebates that could total as much as $500 when they install a new high-efficiency oilheat system and a new aboveground heating oil tank.

Your heating oil dealer can help you qualify for these rebates. Funds are limited for this program and rebates will be allotted on a first-come, first-served basis.

The rebate program is coordinated through the Michigan Petroleum Association/Michigan Association of Convenience Stores (MPAMACS) with the support of the National Oilheat Research Alliance (NORA).

We’re proud that this program has already made a positive difference for Michigan oilheat customers and we look forward to helping more benefit from rebate-funded equipment upgrades this year.

Besides the immediate savings from equipment rebates, you will save money on heating oil for years to come when you upgrade your equipment. In just the last decade, there have been major improvements to oilheat equipment. The latest systems are small, smart and super-efficient, and can not only keep your home toasty warm, but save you, on average, about 30% on your annual heating costs.

Heating oil itself has also been getting better. Over the last few years, heating oil has been reformulated with Bioheat—heating oil blended with renewable, ultra-low sulfur biodiesel. Read more.

Please visit our Consumer Rebates page, where you can download your rebate coupons and present them to your heating oil dealer at the time of purchase.

Remember, if this is the year you want to replace your old oilheat system or storage tank, don’t wait too long. These rebates are only available while funds last.
